Bedrooms

Our nine recently refurbished bedrooms all enjoy splendid Moorland views. You’ll enjoy fresh white linen on your comfortable bed, plus fluffy towels and quality toiletries. As well as free Wi-Fi throughout Fairhaven Guesthouse, every room includes a flatscreen TV with Freeview, with comfy seating too.

Your hospitality tray is well-stocked and replenished daily. Fresh milk and additional filtered water is always available in the dining room fridge. You’ll find a hairdryer in every room and should you require an iron and ironing board (or anything else), please ask.

Room 1

A bright, airy room on the first floor with king size bed and views to side of house across the moors. There is an en-suite shower room with a large walk in shower and a TV with Freeview. 2 armchairs provide comfortable seating and a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits.

Room 2

One of our superior rooms, a very spacious, bright room on the first floor with a king size bed and handy lobby area for luggage storage. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with shower over and bathrobes are provided. Being at the front of the house there are large windows with fabulous far reaching views across the valley and moors. There is a flat screen TV with Freeview, a chaise provides comfortable seating and there is a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits.

Room 3

A bright compact room on the first floor with single bed and a wonderful view from the front of the house across the valley and moor. This our only room which is not en-suite but has a lovely private shower room just across the hall and a bath robe is provided. There is a flat screen TV with Freeview and a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits.

Room 4

One of our superior rooms, a spacious, flexible room on the first floor which can be either twin bedded or super king. This room also benefits from a handy lobby area for luggage storage. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with shower over and bathrobes are provided. Being at the front of the house there are large windows with far reaching views across the valley and moor. There is a flat screen TV with Freeview, a comfortable leather sofa and a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits

Room 5

A beautiful single room on the first floor with village views across to the moors. There is an en-suite shower room, a digital TV with Freeview and a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits.

Room 6

A cosy standard double room on the second floor with views to side of house across the moors. There is an en-suite shower room, a TV with Freeview plus an armchair and a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits. Being in the eaves there is a sloping ceiling above the bed and in the bathroom but otherwise the room has full head height. This room has a side dormer window with lovely views

Room 7

This is a very large room on the second floor with much flexibility being our family room. The room is set up with a double and single bed which also has a pull-out bed under it with a full size single mattress so the room can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. There is a bright, en-suite shower room and a TV with Freeview. 2 armchairs provide comfortable seating and there is a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits. Being in the eaves, there is a sloping ceiling above the bed but the majority of the room has full head height. This room has a side dormer window with lovely views.

Room 8

A light, bright room on the second floor with a king size bed. Being at the front of the house there are large windows with beautiful far reaching views across the moors. There is an en-suite shower room, flat screen TV with Freeview, a leather sofa provides comfortable seating and there is a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits.

Room 9

A flexible room on the second floor which can be either twin bedded or super king. This room has a dormer window giving superb far reaching views across the village to Goathland moor beyond. There is an en-suite shower room and a TV with Freeview. 2 armchairs provide comfortable seating and there is a tea tray with a selection of quality beverages and biscuits. The bathroom has partly sloping ceilings but full head height around the door and shower area.
